Supra is pushin' its shoe game:

I've been feelin' alot of the Hi-Tops that SUPRA has been releasing lately, even if it's similar in design to Creative Rec, Alife, or Lakai. Anyway, the skate company is dropping some freshly unique styles, like the 24K Gold Hi's that were released a couple months back. It seems like the hi-tops are being hustled the most.
Right now, hi-tops are fashionable, i mean emo kids sport the fuck outta them, hiphop heads, hardcore kids, NYC hipsters...hi-tops are killing the shoe industry. Everybody is marketing them to an extreme and collaborating with other labels to present that "Fresh" pair of kicks that every consumer "must" have. It's a little overkill sometimes, but i understand, it's a business and it's not just marketed to bball players/enthusiasts and shoe fiends anymore....every subculture is exposed and marketed to now. It'll be interesting to see how long the hi-top mainstream scene lasts. Reebok, Nike, Puma, Vans, Cons, Alife, CR, Adidas, etc. I mean don't get me wrong, hi-tops have always been lucrative and sought after, just not to the PRESENT-DAY extreme...that's my observation.
Back to Supra - Their lows don't impress me a bit however, they look like typical skate shoes that are affordable. All the hi's seem very marketable to skaters, but mostly to trendy street fashion conesuers. Peep some of the hi-tops for yourself:

p.s. i'm glad New Balance are not trying to jump on the hi-top game.
