-i discovered this artist last week by a couple of BC homies that insisted i hear the track, "Goodbye Horses". I was immediately struck with overwhelming 80s dance fervor that i secretly contained in my gut while they danced their asses off like it was a daily routine. (Thankyou Jaq & company!!)
Since then, i have obsessed over the one-hit-wonder track written & performed by William Garvey & sung by the female vocalist Q-Lazzarus.
This little 88' treasure is rare as fuck. Two of the infamous record-digging-stores in PDX never even heard of the gem. The 12inch is going for bundles of bennies online....i guess i won't be obtaining it anytime soon & neither will any other broke-ass djs!
In the meantime, listen to this gem. You'll realize it was featured in Silence of the Lambs during the notorious Buffalo Bill "i'd fuck me" scene. Below is the film version and the regular edit version - i suggest watching both & dancing like it's 88'
